Power BI Developer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for developing and deploying Power BI dashboards
• Understand the data sources and build Data Engineering operations for BI solutions
• Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams
• Understand the requirements, develop / maintain ETL pipelines
• Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions
• Performing data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design using Azure data analysis, R, Python and Power BI.
• Reviewing and improving existing systems and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems.
• Excellent SQL or other database Skills.

• Working knowledge of Python or R. Ability to read, understand, make changes and maintain python or R code.

• Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis for quick understanding of data sources

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3 10 years of relevant experience in PowerBI

• Engineering degree or equivalent with a strong academic record

• Rich experience in SQL, Azure, ETL, R or Python.

• Should be good with Microsoft Excel & PPT.

• Should be able to work independently • Excellent Power BI development skills

• Other BI tools expertise is a plus e.g. Tableau, Qlik etc

• Good automation skills using Python, VBA etc.

• Experience on digital and e-commerce data is an added advantage

• Customer handling experiences

• Strong attention to detail

• Good communication skills for team/ client interaction
